COVERED UP       2023

For this design I started from a sheet that I reworked into a piece of seating furniture. I created a base to drape the sheet on. The sheet was soaked in Power Tex, this allowed me to position the sheet in the position I wanted and it hardened as it dried making it a sturdy structure. The sheet gives the illusion of being light and airy, but in reality it is a hard and undeformable whole.
